Karachi: A worker of Jamaat-e-Islami was killed in the firing of unknown suspects near No. 1 Jama Masjid Muslimeen in Orangi Town area.

SHO Ali Raza said that the victim was identified as 42-year-old Waseem Siddiqui, who was shot on the neck and passed through the head.

According to preliminary information, the deceased was called by someone from home while he was working as a travel agent and Umrah visas.

It is suspected that the victim was shot dead due to a personal grudge while the police recovered a 30-bore pistol shell from the crime scene.
