On October 27, 2017, a 16-year-old girl was stripped and paraded naked in a crowded market.

Five persons named in the Sharifan Bibi case were shot and killed in Parwa police station. The incident took place in Navgai Tehsil. Where unknown persons opened fire on persons riding on 2 motorcycles.

The victims were coming to the court in connection with the appearance of the case when they were ambushed on the way. The deceased were residents of village Garhamat of Chodhawan police station. The main suspect in the incident, Sajawal, his son Inayatullah, Nimatullah Kifayatullah and Aslam are among the dead.

According to the police, the incident of stripping the girl naked on October 27 was a sign of personal enmity.
The police registered a case against the girl and arrested the accused after a delay of several months. Political pressure was also put in this case and the accused were released on bail after settlement in the Jirga.
