Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to file an intra-court appeal against the decision of the Peshawar High Court regarding the restoration of the bat sign.

According to the details, the Election Commission of Pakistan consulted the legal experts after consulting on the decision issued by the Peshawar High Court, which was completed.

After the consultation, the Election Commission has decided to file an intra-court appeal against the decision of the Peshawar High Court.

Sources of the Election Commission say that if the Peshawar High Court does not grant relief on the intra-court appeal, then the Supreme Court will be approached in the second stage.

It should be noted that the Election Commission of Pakistan declared PTI’s intra-party elections null and void and withdrew the electoral symbol of the bat, after which Tehreek-e-Insaf challenged the decision of the Election Commission in the Peshawar High Court.

The Peshawar High Court postponed the Election Commission’s decision till January 11 and restored the election symbol of the bat.
