Do not treat Baloch protesters as enemies, Islamabad High Court

The Islamabad High Court has asked the police not to treat the Baloch protesters as enemies.

In the High Court, a hearing was held on the petition against the arrests of Baloch protestors and the denial of their right to protest.

Counsel for the petitioner, protest organizers, SSP Operations appeared before the court.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb expressed his indignation and asked the SS operations whether you gave an order to deal with them harshly. Let it sit.

The petitioner’s lawyer pleaded that 34 arrested protestors are still in jail whose identity is yet to be paraded, one person Zaheer is missing and named in the FIR of Kohsar police station.

The police officer said that he was in jail and could not be released due to non-payment of bail.

Advocate General Islamabad said that it is easy to blame the government but no Baloch is missing from the protestors.

The court told the SSP operations that more protestors than them kept coming here, you kept pampering them, what have they done? You should not treat them as enemies.

The lawyer said that the court sought a report as to why more than 50 women among the Baloch protesters were arrested.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that the heart wants to say a lot but cannot say it.

The Islamabad High Court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 29, asking the Islamabad police to present the identity of 34 Baloch students today and to report the female Baloch protesters.
