Orphan girl 'defamatory' treatment in police station for protesting against K Electric

Karachi: The protest against K Electric cost an orphan girl of Shahr Quaid.

A few days ago in Orangi Town, the orphan girl who protested against the electric staff by climbing on the electric vehicle was called to the Iqbal Market police station and treated her humiliatingly and walked on her knees crying with folded hands. The video of the demand went viral on social media.

After seeing the video, not only outrage spread in the urban circles, but also a new debate has been sparked on this action of the police and K Electric. Under pressure, the girl recorded such a video statement that nothing happened to her at the Iqbal Market police station.

A complaint was made by the electrical staff in Iqbal Market police station that the said girl misbehaved with the staff and raised her hand while the footage of the incident also went viral on social media, on which the girl was called to the police station where the said girl was arrested. Along with registering a case against him, a very defamatory attitude was also adopted by a person in the police station.

The victim girl cried and walked on her knees, holding her feet and asking for forgiveness from everyone and also addressed the video maker and said that if you want, make my video, I will not say anything that will cause her helplessness and Helplessness can be well estimated.

After the insulting behavior of the girl in the police station, a video statement was recorded from the girl at home in which she said that on December 22 the staff of K Electric came to our house, the girl said that she did not have a father and We are 5 siblings, due to some issues could not submit electricity bill, staff rude to me and said they will cut the line.

The girl said that the K Electric staff had some words that I did not tolerate and I abused them after which they went to the police station and they called me to the police station and said that a case will be registered against me but anything like that. It did not happen. The SHO of our area Iqbal Market police station supported us a lot and did not let them do anything and settled with the staff of Mira K Electric.
