Strike in Panjgur against violence against Baloch protesters in Islamabad, dharna on national highway

Islamabad Police conducted a shutter down strike in Panchgaur against the torture and arrests of Baloch protesters, while the protesters blocked the Karachi Quetta highway on the second day as well.

According to the details, a shutter down strike has been conducted in Panchgaur city on the call of Baloch Solidarity Committee of Islamabad to crack down on Baloch women, children and protestors in Islamabad.

On the call of the Baloch Solidarity Committee, all the big and small markets and financial institutions of the city remained closed while the traffic on the roads was less than usual.

Meanwhile, women protestors in Qalat blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway at Mangchar for the second day and demanded the release of all arrested persons and the immediate recovery of the missing persons.

After that, the negotiations with the administration were successful, when the protestors ended their sit-in from the national highway of Saurabh, they gave ten hours to the government to release the protestors.

The leader of Baloch Solidarity Committee said that if the arrested persons are not released, the road will be blocked again.

It should be noted that after the incident that happened in Islamabad, the Karachi-Quetta highway was blocked by protestors at different places yesterday, after which the land route from Quetta to Karachi remained closed for two days.
