Peshawar: The Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice Retired Arshad Hussain has said that he is determined to provide an equal environment for all political parties to compete in the general elections.
According to the details, a meeting of the caretaker provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which the cabinet was briefed regarding the preparations for the general election 2024.
The Provincial Cabinet emphasized on ensuring strict implementation of the Election Commission’s instructions and SOPs, while the Chief Minister said that they are committed to providing equal environment for competition to all the political parties during their election campaigns. Make sure to follow the rules.
He said that political gatherings should be held at specified places, transparent and efficient use of expenses should be ensured in elections.
In the briefing given to the cabinet, it was stated that elections will be held on 55 seats of the National Assembly and 145 seats of the Provincial Assembly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for which 15737 polling stations will be built across the province.
