The Peshawar High Court ordered the Election Commission to issue a decision by tomorrow in the election symbol and PTI intra-party election case.
A 2-member bench of the Peshawar High Court reserved its verdict after completing the hearing of the PTI intra-party election and election symbol case.
In today’s hearing, Justice Shakeel Ahmed asked Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar why he did not file a case in Islamabad High Court, to which he replied that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is safer for us than Punjab and leaders cannot go there. The ground facts are that our leaders are arrested there.

Justice SM Atiq Shah said that you are the chairman now, you are not expected to make such statements. Barrister Gohar took a stand that the intra-party elections were held in Peshawar, that’s why he came here. Federation allows us to file application here. The Election Commission is everywhere and can do the case anywhere.
After the hearing, PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar told the media that it is expected that the party with 70% popularity of the country will not be kept out of the election. If this happens, there will be a question mark on the elections. Judiciary is responsible for protection of rights.
