Karachi: The fire that once again broke out in the Parsa Tower on Shaara Faisal was brought under control at 7 am on Wednesday.

The fire that broke out at 9 o’clock on Tuesday night in PECHS Block 6 Main Sharia Faisal Parsa Tower within Tipusultan police station was controlled at 12 o’clock, but the fire flared up again between Tuesday and Wednesday night, which But the fire brigade crew brought it under control at 7 am.

Chief Fire Officer Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan said that after one o’clock in the night, people from the offices entered the building after the cooling process. It ignited again, after which the occupants were trapped, who were rescued and the flames were extinguished on the eighth and ninth floors of the building.

According to the fire brigade spokesperson, the fire has been brought under control and the cooling process will be completed soon. When the fire broke out again, one snorkel and 7 fire tenders took part in extinguishing the fire. As a precautionary measure, 2 to 3 fire tenders will remain at the scene throughout the day on Wednesday.

Earlier, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab visited the fire-affected building on Shaara Faisal. While talking to the media, he said that 3 people were rescued from the roof while the situation is under control. All things are being inspected. According to initial reports, the fire started due to sparking in the fire dock, which has been brought under control. There was no loss of life in the fire.
