Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir met with Commander CentCom General Michael Eric on the occasion of his visit to the headquarters.
Rawalpindi: During the visit of the Army Chief to the US, he met the Commander of the US Central Command, General Michael Eric.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir met the Commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM) General Michael Eric Corella during his visit to the headquarters of CENTCOM in Florida.
During the meeting, issues of common interest, especially cooperation in regional security matters, were discussed. General Syed Asim Munir and Commander General Michael Eric also discussed the methods of joint training.
According to ISPR, the meeting emphasized the need to enhance training between CENTCOM and Pakistan Army. The Army Chief also visited the CENTCOM Joint Operation Center during the visit.
