Lahore: The High Court ordered to stop any disciplinary action against Khadija Shah.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi heard the request of Khadija Shah against money laundering inquiry in FIA, in which the court stopped any disciplinary action against Khadija Shah.
Advocate Sameer Khosa had taken a stand in the court that FIA had not received any complaint in this regard. This is not an FIR, it is an inquiry. This is a sumoto enquiry, any inquiry is based on any information, there are 5 things out of the ordinary in this enquiry, no complainant has come forward.
The lawyer said that Khadija Shah got bail in 4 cases, then was arrested in MPO, then taken to Quetta. We request you to temporarily stay this inquiry. The parties should be prevented from re-detaining Khadija Shah.
FIA has been made party to the petition. The lawyer added in arguments that Khadija Shah was arrested in various cases, after getting bail she was arrested in one new case after another, FIA started money laundering inquiry on the basis of malicious intent. FIA starts money laundering inquiry against law The court ordered the money laundering inquiry to be declared illegal.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 22.
