Karachi: There is no decrease in robbery incidents in Shahr Quaid. Yesterday too, robbers stormed the doctor’s house and took the family hostage and ran away.
According to the police, 3 bandits escaped from house number B-71 Block 10 FB area in Gulbarg area after taking Rs. The CCTV footage of the accused approaching the house, entering the house and fleeing after the incident also went viral.
The owner of the house, Masroor Ahmed, son of Maqbool Ahmed, registered the case No. 534/2023 in Gulberg police station against the unknown accused under section 392/397/34. The plaintiff in his statement stated that he is a retired doctor, was at home with his family on December 18, 2023 while doing financial work outside the house due to which the main gate was open. Around 8:15 am. But 3 unknown 25 to 30-year-old armed men wearing pant shirts entered through the main gate.
At gunpoint, the accused gathered all the family members in the kitchen and looted Rs. Kar escaped by sitting on his 125 motorcycle outside the house and firing in the air.
The CCTV footage of the incident went viral, in which it was seen that 3 robbers entered the house at gunpoint, before the incident, 3 robbers were standing outside the house and as soon as they saw the opportunity, the three entered the house. After the incident, the robbers started to escape, then the people of the house made noise, on which the robbers escaped by shooting in the air.
