California: The iOS 17.2 update released by technology giant Apple this week has added to the woes of iPhone users.
A number of disgruntled users who faced issues after immediately downloading the update released by the company took to social networking website X (formerly Twitter) to complain about rapid battery drain after the update. gave
Among the complaints filed, users said that after the iOS update, they were having to charge their phones multiple times a day.
One user tweeted that after the iOS 17.2 update, the battery drained very quickly, dropping from 99 percent to 91 percent in just 10 minutes of use.

Apple earlier this week released the iOS 17.2 update for several iPad models, including the iPhone XS and later models.
A new feature called Journal was added in this update. Also, this update includes quick fixes for bugs and security updates.
