Accused Hamza Sohail was running an unlicensed travel agency, officials said
Karachi: FIA arrested the accused involved in human trafficking under the guise of employment abroad.
According to the spokesman, the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell in Karachi arrested the suspect of human trafficking by pretending to work abroad. On the orders of Deputy Director Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi Bahawal Ostu, the raiding team arrested the human trafficker.
The accused Hamza Sohail was arrested from Bahadurabad area of Karachi, who was running an agency called Ajawa Travel without a license. The accused were receiving huge sums of money by pretending to provide employment to simple citizens, while according to preliminary investigation, the accused received passports from several citizens in the name of sending them to foreign countries. During the raid, 13 passports, 12 checkbooks, laptops and other documents were recovered from the possession of the accused.
The accused could not satisfy the authorities even regarding the license. According to the FIA, the action against the accused was carried out based on a tip-off. Accused Hamza Sohail has been arrested and investigation has been started and raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.
