Pakhtunkhwa;  Suicide blast on police line, attack on check post in Khyber, 3 officers martyred, many injured

Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3 personnel were martyred and many were injured in terrorist attacks on security forces.

According to Express News, an attacker blew himself up in the tank. One police officer was martyred and 3 injured in the incident, while 10 officers could not be contacted. According to the police, the firing has ended, after which the operation is ongoing while the security forces are also present with the police.

According to initial reports, one attacker was killed in police retaliatory action. The terrorists penetrated inside the police line and attacked with hand grenades and other weapons, in which so far 4 personnel including 2 FC and 2 police officers were injured while a retired police officer was martyred, whose body was detonated. He has been shifted to HQ Hospital.

Attack on check post in Khyber district

On the other hand, terrorists attacked a joint check post of police and frontier corps in Khyber district, in which 2 civilians were martyred and 6 injured.

According to security sources, the injured have been shifted to Peshawar for medical assistance, while the terrorists escaped in retaliation. According to initial reports, the terrorists used hand grenades and other heavy weapons in the attack.

According to medical sources, 7 injured of Bara blast have been brought to Hayatabad Medical Complex, where the condition of all the injured is out of danger. The injured have been shifted to neurosurgery, orthopedic and surgical ward.
