PIA paid 40 crores to PSO, another 1 billion 10 crores remaining

Karachi: Qaumi Airlines (PIA) has paid Pakistan State Oil Rs 40 crore out of the remaining Rs 1.5 billion fuel dues.

After the account was restored by FBR, PIA paid Rs 40 crore to PSO on Friday out of the Rs 1.5 billion dues.

According to sources, PIA had to pay Rs 1.50 crore to maintain its credit limit, and still has to pay another Rs 1.10 crore to meet the limit.

Regarding the fuel required by the PIA administration, the fuel supply company has to provide a demand list in advance.
