Islamabad High Court allowed Fawad Chaudhry to meet his wife in solitary confinement.
In the High Court, the case of allowing Fawad Chaudhry facilities in jail and meeting with lawyers and family members was heard.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad Captain R Anwar ul Haq appeared and said that Fawad Chaudhry was provided with B class in the jail, he was also allowed to meet his family and lawyers.
The Chief Commissioner has submitted an implementation report on Fawad Chaudhry’s request that Fawad Chaudhry is allowed to visit his wife in privacy in jail and also ordered to provide medical facilities as per jail manual.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb told the Deputy Superintendent Jail that the dignity of the petitioner should be kept in mind, Asif Ali Zardari and Ms. Benazir Bhutto were also stopped during family meetings in the jail. They cause embarrassment.
The court disposed of Fawad Chaudhry’s application with directions.
