Islamabad: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said that Israel should be held accountable for the genocide of Palestinians.
Speaking at the Senate meeting, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said that the situation in Gaza is very serious. More than 15 thousand testimonies and health facilities have been lost.
He said that Israel is committing war crimes and genocide. We have spoken with the President of Palestine. He has explained the situation. Hamas has 200 Israeli prisoners and Israel has 7,200 Gaza prisoners.
Jalil Abbas Jilani further said that the narrative of Israel and Western countries has no importance at this time. Israel must be held accountable. The OIC meeting was held, in which Pakistan played an active role. Pakistan’s role in the United Nations was appreciated.
He said that he is in contact with Egypt and Greece regarding the injured in Gaza. Israel’s permission is required to evacuate the wounded from Gaza.
Later, the Senate meeting was adjourned till 3 pm on Monday.
