Karachi: Another person infected with Congo virus died in Karachi.
According to the details, a 35-year-old man infected with Congo virus has died in the Sindh Institute of Infectious Diseases Hospital based at Karachi Nipa.
According to the doctors, the condition of the patient was not good. According to the health department, a total of 16 patients were transferred from Quetta to a private hospital in Karachi, out of which two patients have died, two have been discharged while Congolese. 12 patients are currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
On the other hand, a person infected with Congo virus was brought to the Charity Hospital in Karachi on November 6, who belongs to Eastern District. According to hospital sources, the 42-year-old victim had symptoms of fever, cough and nosebleed, and was discharged on November 8 after timely treatment.
On the special instructions of the Health Minister, a special 8-bed Congo Ward has been established in the Sindh Institute of Infectious Diseases Hospital, where doctors have been instructed to stay alert 24 hours a day.
According to medical experts, the symptoms of Congo virus include high fever, headache, nausea, weakness, lack of white blood cells and blisters in the mouth.
