Pakistan’s leading showbiz personalities have expressed their displeasure over the continuously rising petrol prices in the country.
YouTuber and actor Arsalan Naseer has raised an important question on the microblogging website Twitter after the increase in petrol prices in the country once again.
He wrote in his tweet that ‘Poverty should be eliminated from the country or the poor?’
Former singer Robi Pirzada remembered the founder of Pakistan after hearing the new price of petrol in the country.
He wrote in his tweet that “Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam, Sir Pakistan misses you very much”.
He further wrote that ‘we no longer have any leadership or vision, we are no longer a nation, we are only a group of people who prefer their personal interests over the motherland’.
Actress and host Mishi Khan has expressed her opinion on the ever-increasing price of petrol and the public’s reaction to the government’s oppression of poor citizens in the country.
He wrote in his tweet that ‘Why are you all so worried??’
“Still long queues for petrol, more cars on the road and don’t forget Tim Hortons coffee but enjoy the 8th edition of PSL,” he mocked the public.
He further wrote that ‘don’t take any action just keep talking on social media for 2 more days and wait for another inflation bomb to explode’.
It should be noted that the government has dropped another inflation bomb on the public by increasing the price of petrol by 22 rupees last night.
