An accident occurred on the Quetta-Karachi national highway in which two children died and 18 Baratis were injured.
According to the details, the pick-up of the Baratis overturned on the Quetta-Karachi national highway at Tarki. As soon as the accident was reported, volunteers of the rescue organization, FC personnel and police reached the spot.
Rescue workers took out 18 injured people including children from the vehicle and shifted them to Khuzdar Hospital where doctors confirmed the death of two children.
Rescue sources said that women and children are among the injured as a result of the accident, who are being given medical assistance at Khuzdar Hospital, but the condition of three of them is critical.
The injured said that the accident happened due to the carelessness of the driver and driving the vehicle at a high speed, while he was stopped from driving the vehicle several times.
