Peshawar: Afghan artists filed a petition in Peshawar High Court against forced evacuation from Pakistan.
According to Express News, this application has been filed by Afghan artists through a prominent advocate, in which the federal government, provincial government NADRA and others have been made parties.
The petition states that the government of Pakistan signed an agreement with the UNHC in 2003, under the international agreement, Pakistan is bound not to forcibly evict Afghan refugees, and the government of Afghanistan is also included in this agreement. .

It has been said in the petition that the Supreme Court has also issued a decision that the rights enjoyed by Pakistanis are also enjoyed by Afghan refugees, but the government has issued a declaration, since then the roundup of Afghan refugees continues. Agreements with UNHCR should be adhered to.
The petitioners have said that the forced evacuation and roundup of Afghan refugees should be stopped, the court should stop the government from arresting and forcibly evacuating the Afghan refugees until the final decision on the petition.
