Karachi: CTD arrested a terrorist belonging to banned outfit Lashkar-Jhangvi and recovered arms and grenades from his possession.
CTD Investigation Police arrested Hafiz Qasim Rashid alias Bilal alias Ganja son of Mohammad Abdul Rashid belonging to banned organization Lashkar Jhangvi and recovered weapons and hand grenades from his possession.
According to CTD officials, the arrested accused ran a network from the jail during the arrest in which Amjad Sabri, 4 Rangers jawans, 4 army personnel and 4 Shia people were killed in Sadar through Asim Capri and Ishaq Bobby.
The arrested accused was imprisoned in several serious cases including the murder of MPA Raza Haider and was released from jail recently.
The arrested terrorist along with his accomplices Waseem Baroodi, Abdullah, Danesh, Hafiz Akhlaq, Parvaiz, Qari Inayat and Abdullah Ilyas Timuri had enabled the terrorists for more incidents.
Initially, the accused confessed to the murder of Assistant Superintendent Jail Pir Masood Ahmed, Deputy Superintendent Jail Abdul Razzaq Abbasi and other incidents.
