Multan: For the first time in the history of PSL, a woman has been appointed as the fast bowling coach.
According to Multan Sultans, 30-year-old Catherine Dalton from Ireland has been appointed as the fast bowling coach of Multan Sultans. Catherine Dalton is an Advanced Level Three Certified Coach from the English Cricket Board. She has played four ODIs and four T20 matches for the Ireland women’s national team.
Catherine has coaching experience in the UK and India and has previously worked with young Pakistani fast bowlers including Mohammad Ilyas, Samin Gul, Arshad Iqbal and the Under-19 players.
Catherine’s coaching career includes serving as Assistant Head Coach with the Fast Bowling Academy in the UK and the Ultimate Peace Foundation in India.
Kathryn Dalton told ESPNcricinfo that she is thrilled to be joining the PSL franchise. It is an honor to work for a major men’s T20 franchise as a female fast bowling coach.
