Washington: Fate was so kind to a person in America that more than 5 trillion (2 billion dollars) lottery came out on a ticket of 500 rupees (2 dollars).
Officials of the lottery selling agency in the US state of California told the media that the name of the person who won the lottery is Edwin Castro. No further details about the lottery winner have been released.
Edwin Castro bought a lottery ticket for 500 rupees ($2) in November 2022. This lottery is played in 45 US states along with the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and is very popular.
Lottery officials had invited Edwin Castro, the record winner, to appear in the media, but he declined to do so. US lottery laws require rules and regulations to be followed for releasing the winner’s name and other details.
