A project manager of Pakistan Minerals Development Corporation (PMDC) was killed in an improvised explosive device explosion in Soranj area of Quetta.
According to the police, Shabat Mirza’s car collided with an improvised explosive device (IED) in the said area, which resulted in a horrific explosion and completely destroyed his car.
Due to the explosion, Shabhat Mirza died on the spot while his driver was seriously injured and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. Later, law enforcement agencies and Frontier Corps (FC) officials reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
