Quetta: Acting on a tip-off, Balochistan Police foiled the terror plan by seizing a large consignment of weapons from the vehicle.
According to the caretaker interior minister, the police, acting on a tip-off, recovered a large consignment of weapons from the car, which was being transported to an unknown location for the purpose of terrorism.
He said that 35 kg of explosive material B was recovered from the vehicle. The bomb disposal team of the Special Branch expertly defused the explosives.
The caretaker home minister claimed that the police force saved the city from destruction by taking timely action, on which the officers will be given certificates of appreciation. He said that further investigation is going on regarding the vehicle and the incident.
