Dubrich: A corner of the International Park named after Palestine has been inaugurated in Bulgaria.
According to international media reports, Palestine Park Corner was inaugurated in the International Park in Dobrich, Northeastern Bulgaria, with the participation of the staff of the local Palestinian Embassy.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament and the Mayor of Dobrich, while national athletes and diplomatic representatives were also present. The Palestinian flag was hoisted at Palestine Corner and olive and other trees were planted around the corner in appreciation of the country’s culture.
It should be noted that one such event in support of the Palestinian cause was held on September 14 in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, under the name of ‘State of Palestine’ street. In which a road was named after the State of Palestine. The ceremony began with the national anthems of both countries and Palestinian Ambassador Rauf al-Maliki praised the city council.
