Los Angeles: Pakistani Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai met Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise at the luncheon given by the Academy Award whose pictures are going viral on social media.
According to foreign media reports, producers, directors and actors nominated for the 95th Academy Awards from around the world participated in the luncheon given by the Oscars.
Malala Yousafzai also attended the luncheon as the executive producer of the Hollywood documentary ‘Stranger at the Gate’ where she met Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg and Cate Blanchett among other Hollywood legends.
Malala Yousafzai thanked the Academy Awards for being a part of the Oscars by sharing photos with Top Gun maverick star Tom Cruise and other Hollywood producers and directors on her social media accounts.
Malala wrote in the caption of the photos that she is very happy to join all the nominees for this year’s Oscars and is grateful to the Academy Awards for this honor. Malala expressed her happiness on meeting Hollywood star Tom Cruise.

Stranger at the Gate is a factual short documentary about a former US Marine who plans to blow up a mosque in his hometown, but is inspired by a Muslim woman to convert to Islam.
Remember that Stranger at the Gate has been nominated for the 95th Academy Awards in the Best Documentary category.
