Karachi: Near North Nazimabad Shipowner’s College, the accused killed two youths by firing at five in the morning, their third accomplice escaped, the bodies of the dead youths are lying in the hospital, so far they have not been identified and no one has contacted them.

According to Express News, on Monday morning, unknown armed suspects shot and killed two youths near North Nazimabad block of T-ship owner college in Noor Jahan police station area, police reached the spot and collected evidence and shifted the bodies to Abbasi Hospital.

According to SHO Shahrah Noor Jahan Qamar Javed Kayani, the incident of firing took place between 5 am and 5:30 am in which three youths riding on two motorcycles were fired upon, two youths were killed and the third escaped. According to Fajr, 6 to 8 fire sounds were heard.

He said that nothing could be recovered from the deceased youths that could identify them, the ages of the deceased youths are 20 to 25 years, the motorcycle used by the deceased youths is registered in the name of a person named Muhammad Ismail. Yes, one youth was shot in the head and the other in the stomach, the bodies of the youths are in Abbasi Hospital but no one has contacted yet.

The SHO said that the police did not find even a single shell from the spot of firing, the security guard posted in the area has a repeater weapon in which investigation is going on, the police has obtained the CCTV footages of the area in which 2 Three youths on motorcycles can be seen passing through the street.

In the footage, it was seen that a young man riding a motorcycle appears to be signaling someone by switching on and off the headlight of the motorcycle while passing through the street, in another CCTV footage, 2 people on a motorcycle at 5:20 am. can be seen crossing the street, 10 seconds later a person walking down the street in the opposite direction and a few seconds later a person on a motorcycle can be seen following the person walking.

According to the footage, at the same time, a sound of fire is heard and at 5:22 a.m. suddenly, loud gunfire starts and the noise starts. After a few seconds, gunfire starts in the distance. The bodies of the two youths who were shot dead were found at two different locations across the street. It is suspected that both were targeted and killed.

According to the police officials, the deceased were civilians, it would be premature to call them robbers, they are conducting further investigations into the incident.
