Srinagar: An Indian soldier, who was injured during a military operation in occupied Kashmir on Wednesday, died in a hospital today, taking the number of soldiers killed in this operation to 4.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Army had conducted a military operation two days ago in which Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhawanchak and a DSP were killed.

In this operation, two soldiers were seriously injured due to bullets. One of them died today during treatment. Thus, the number of Indian soldiers killed in this military operation has increased to 4.

After this military operation was over, it was found that an officer was missing. Kashmir Police and Indian Army conducted several search operations to find his accomplice but met with failure.

The Indian Army did not reveal the identity of the missing officer.

A trained dog was also killed in the military operation of the Indian Army, while the Indian Ministry of Defense also claimed the death of a militant in the operation, which could not be confirmed by independent sources.
