The Asia Cup match between Pakistan and India was postponed till Reserve Day due to continuous rain.
When the match was stopped, India’s score was 147 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 24.1 overs. Virat Kohli scored 8 runs and KL Rahul scored 17 runs at the crease.
In the crucial match of the Asia Cup Super Four stage played in Colombo, the Indian openers showed an aggressive game against the Pakistani bowling line from the beginning, the two openers established a partnership of 121 runs.
Rohit Sharma scored 56 runs while Shibman Gill scored 58 runs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan took one wicket each.
Earlier, national team captain Babar Azam had won the toss and decided to field first. He said that he would try to take early wickets and put India under pressure.
