Internet has made many of our daily tasks very easy, whether it is to buy something, make a booking or get information about something, everything is available online.
But there is no dearth of online scams and recently an Indian man also fell victim to it.
Rohit Verma, a resident of the Indian city of Bengaluru, shared his disturbing experience in the form of a tweet on the social networking website Twitter.
Rohit wrote that he booked an airline ticket from Bengaluru to Guwahati through an online ticketing platform. He paid 1 lakh 65 thousand Indian rupees online for the business class seat.
However, after paying the money, he came to know that there is no business class in the said airline, on which he was stunned.
They tried to contact the organizers of the Make My Trip platform to get their money back, but were unsuccessful.
Later, he contacted the airline, whose staff were shocked to hear his plea, but promised to help Rohit.
Thank you everyone for liking and retweeting. Hope they wake up and respond.

A few days later, Rohit’s issue was resolved and he received his money from the said platform.
Hearing Rohit’s rant, a Twitter user wrote that such scams are very common in online booking where various platforms charge more than the actual amount, it is better to always book through the official website of the airline. go
