Quetta: Like the rest of the country, the price of sugar in Quetta also went up, the price per kg in the rural areas of Quetta reached Rs 230.
According to the details, in the urban areas of Quetta, sugar is being sold at 220 rupees per kg, while a 50 kg bag is being sold at 11 thousand rupees.
After the increase in sugar prices, prices of sweets and bakery items also increased, while a cup of tea in hotels increased from Rs 60 to Rs 80.
On the other hand, caretaker provincial information minister John Achakzai has said that the FC has conducted a successful operation against sugar smugglers in South Balochistan and seized a large quantity of commodities.
