Islamabad: On the order of the High Court, IG Islamabad paid the fine amount to Shireen Mazari.

The case regarding Shireen Mazari’s name in ECL was heard by Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of Islamabad High Court, in which he inquired why the arrest was not made when the cases were made? What is the status of the 2014 cases? ? It has been 10 years since these cases. Was permission taken from the federal government to put the name in the passport control list?

The court remarked that the authority to include the name in the passport control list rests with the federal government, on which the officials told the court that the name is added only when the investigating agency writes to us. The court said that the federal government gives the approval while the list is prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The federal government cannot give its authority to anyone. In the rules, the word “Federal Government” is the word “D” and not the word “Passport”.

The court said that even in ECL, the federal government gives approval. With the approval of the Federal Government, the name of the Ministry of Interior is sent to the FIA. There is a case of 2014 in the police station secretariat, tell me why the police did not arrest him then. Has the IG Islamabad paid a fine of 25,000? Pay the fine to the IG somewhere else they will send you to jail for contempt of court. You have made a mockery of court orders.
