Famous senior actress of Pakistan film industry Resham is ready to return to the big screen after 8 years with the film ‘Ganjhal’.
Sharing a post on social media website Facebook, the senior actress said that she will be seen in Shoaib Sultan’s film ‘Ganjhal’ alongside Ahmed Ali Akbar.
The film Gunjhal is based on a true story, which revolves around Shehbaz Bhatti, a 90s journalist who investigates the murder of child activist Irfan Masih. The film also stars Ahmed Ali Butt and Amna Ilyas along with Resham.
She wrote in her Facebook post that ‘I am doing a film after a long time. There is excitement and also fear. People are saying that it is your comeback on the big screen of the film and I say that I She was never separated from the cinema. Some time ago she gave a guest appearance in Mola Jat. People’s love took notice of her too.
She wrote that this film is very special for her as she always wanted to act in such a film but unfortunately she could not get such an opportunity.
Describing the film as close to her heart, the actress further wrote that years later when she was told the story of ‘Ganjal’, she immediately agreed to do the film. Discuss topics that need to be discussed.
