According to the authorities, heroin and a drone have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. On tip-off, a car was stopped near DHA Lahore, on which the accused driver fled from the spot instead of stopping the vehicle. During the chase, the accused crashed the vehicle on the footpath.

The accused Fayaz Hussain, a resident of Lahore, was arrested on the spot. During the search, 10 kg of heroin and a drone were recovered from the vehicle, while a packet of one kg of heroin was attached to the drone. The arrested accused ANF was also wanted in other cases. During investigation, the arrested accused confessed to drug smuggling through drone.
According to the spokesperson of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), further investigation is being conducted on the accused to arrest other members of the drug smuggling gang using drones.
