Karachi: The Federal Bureau of Statistics has provided the data of statistical districts, charges, circles and blocks to the Election Commission.
According to the notification, there are 475 statistical districts, 3265 charges, 20585 circles and 180051 blocks across the country. Among them, Punjab has 167 statistical districts, 1605 charges, 11703 circles, 93746 blocks, Sindh has 146 statistical districts, 930 charges, 5140 circles and 43838 blocks.
According to the notification, there are 123 statistical districts, 410 charges, 2777 circles and 28873 blocks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 38 statistical districts, 305 charges, 855 circles and 1737 blocks in Balochistan and 1 statistical district, 15 charges, 110 circles and 1737 blocks in Islamabad. Included.
It should be noted that the Election Commission had requested the details of census data, blocks, charges, tehsils, talukas, districts and digitized maps from the Federal Bureau of Statistics for the new constituencies.
