South film industry star actor Darshan has apologized to the media after a 2-year ban over a viral audio issue.
Darshan Thogudeepa has issued an apology letter to the media to end the ongoing feud, while requesting the media to forget the past and end the matter.
In a statement released on the social networking website, Darshan Thogudeepa said that for the last 2 years there has been a dispute between me and my Kannada media friends.
He further said that on the occasion of Varama Hilla Lakshmi festival, I request my media friends to end the matter happily.
Actor Darshan also said that a few years ago, an unintentional audio of mine went viral, which created a controversy.
Explaining, he said that these were a few words of a man in a difficult time, he did not mean to make fun of any journalist personality.
The actor said, “I am not ashamed to apologise, in this case it was done with malice, but I pray that such malice is never repeated in the future.”
Darshan Thogudeepa further said that I am sorry for the pain caused by my words, hope that I will be forgiven by the fourth pillar of democracy.
