Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court rejected the plea of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf to suspend the sentence today and called for arguments on August 24. Lawyer Latif Khosa raised the issue of cameras in Imran Khan’s cell in the court.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of Islamabad High Court heard the appeal against the sentence of the Chairman PTI in the Tosha Khana case and various requests related to prison facilities including suspension of sentence. During the hearing, lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat said that the Attock Jail administration did not meet us.
On the court inquiry, lawyer Babar Awan said that according to the law there is no restriction on the meeting, the court order was not followed.
Lawyer Latif Khosa said that Additional Sessions Judge Attock has seen how the former prime minister is being kept in jail, basic human rights are being violated, privacy is not being taken care of by CCTC cameras, the court is our The request for suspension of sentence should be heard and decided soon.
Vakil Election Commission took the stand that there is no certified record of the trial court and requested to give two weeks time for preparation.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that there is no prohibition in meeting the PTI Chairman’s lawyers, we had also seen the jail rules in the last hearing, we give some time to the Election Commission but we will not give two weeks.

Latif Khosa objected and said that it would be a complete abuse, the PTI chairman’s sentence is only three years, fundamental rights are being violated in jail, the sentence is illegal.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing on August 24, calling for arguments on the request for suspension of sentence.
