Pakistani actor, director and host Sahir Lodhi has revealed the financial problems faced by his parents in the past.
Sahir Lodhi has revealed in an interview that after his birth, the financial conditions of the house had worsened, he has seen his parents living with great difficulties.
Sahir Lodhi says that his mother, recalling an old story, had once told him that she had only two pairs of clothes which were quite worn, she used to hide her clothes with the help of dupatta.
Sahir Lodhi says that when he had to go to America, money was scarce for tickets, during which his mother gave him her fine gold bangles to sell.
During the interview, he also spoke about his father’s financial problems and his struggles.
Sahir Lodhi said that his father used to work in night shifts only to support the family.
Sahir revealed during the interview that today his father is the chairman of his company.
Sahir Lodhi further said that I and all my siblings are well aware of our respective responsibilities, all are playing their part to take care of father and mother in their growing age.
It should be noted that actor Sahir Lodhi started his film career with ‘Raast’. Sahir Lodhi and Shaista Lodhi are both successful artists and siblings.
Sahir Lodhi has made a name for himself in the industry as an individual while Shaista Lodhi is a successful morning show host and actress as well as a doctor.
