Sunny Deol's house survives auction, bank notice returned

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is in trouble and the bank has withdrawn the tender notice to auction his house for non-payment of loan.

Indian media have claimed from their sources that a statement has been issued by the bank according to which the auction notice has been withdrawn due to some technical reasons.

The Bank of Baroda had earlier issued a notice in the newspaper that the actor owed Rs 56 crore and in case of non-payment, his property would be auctioned on August 25.

The tender notice also said that Sunny Deol should pay the dues immediately if he wants to save his property from auction.

The Indian actor’s new film ‘Ghadar 2’ is flying flags of success at the Indian box office and in less than ten days, it has made a business of 300 crores.

It should be noted that the Indian actor has been a Member of Parliament from the ruling BJP since 2019 and earlier this seat was held by actor Vinod Khanna who was elected by the Congress.
