Mumbai: Famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan has revealed that Sonakshi Sinha used to address him as Uncle in the early days of his career.
In an interview given to Indian media, Salman Khan said that Sonakshi Sinha used to call me ‘Salman Uncle’ during the shooting of Dabangg, but nowadays she does not address me in any way.
It should be noted that Salman Khan’s film Dabangg was released in 2012 in which Sonakshi Sinha made her debut and at that time she was around 17 years old while Salman Khan was 45 years old. There was a significant age difference between the two, due to which Sonakshi addressed Salman Khan as uncle.
Salman Khan said that calling Sonakshi uncle was actually because of the age difference because in the industry there is a huge age gap between the hero and the lead actress and that is the reason why I did not work with Kareena Kapoor for a long time.
Dabangg Khan said that when I saw Kareena, she was only 9 years old, that’s why we didn’t work together, while I worked with her elder sister Karisma Kapoor and at the same time with Kareena. The meeting took place’.
He said that older actresses are not in the industry so he didn’t get a chance to work with Shilpa Sethi or Madhuri Dixit, but if he ever got a chance to work with Shilpa Sethi or Madhuri Dixit, he would definitely do a film.
On the question of choosing young actresses, Salman Khan said, “Producers offer such films, I have nothing to do with anyone’s age, but I am focused on my work.”
It should be noted that in Salman Khan’s new film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, Pocha Hegde will be seen playing the lead role with him.
