The Sindh High Court rejected the petition against the arrest of the accused Daniya Shah in the case of Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s viral videos.
Liaqat Gabol Advocate, the lawyer of the accused, took the position that Daniya Shah was arrested illegally from Lodhran, the legal requirements were not fulfilled at the time of her arrest.
The Sindh High Court inquired whether the challan of the case has been submitted.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that the interim challan of the case has been submitted, on which the court said that the challan of the case against the accused has been submitted, it does not constitute a case of interference.
Advocate Liaqat Gabol demanded that the trial court did not act on the show-cause notice to the investigating officer of the FIA, that the trial court be directed to take action against the FIA.
Daniya Shah is in jail on judicial remand, she was arrested by FIA in December 2022.
