Karachi: Actor Feroze Khan has sent a defamation notice to Oscar-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy.
According to Express News, the notice said that a cyber-harassment campaign was launched by the filmmaker against Feroze Khan, tweets were made from Shermin Obaid’s Twitter handle about his involvement in domestic violence against Feroze Khan, due to which the reputation of the actor was tarnished. were damaged and suffered financial loss.
The notice further stated that on January 16, 2023, Feroze Khan had written to Sherman Obaid seeking a written apology and on January 17, Sherman had refused the apology and the filmmaker had launched this campaign just for fame.
In the legal notice, Sharmeen Obaid has been demanded to apologize in writing to Feroze Khan for making false allegations, otherwise 70 million damages will be paid and a lawsuit and defamation claim will be filed against Sharmeen Obaid.
