Mumbai: Manoj Bajpayee, a well-known actor of the Indian film industry, while recalling his early days, said that on asking for a loan of 50 rupees for a ticket to come to Delhi, his friend said, “You are begging, how will you repay the loan?” I donate 50 rupees to you.

Manoj Bajpayee, who created a storm in the Indian film industry with his acting, made his fans cry by narrating the heartbreaking events that happened while coming from the village to Delhi and making a name for himself in the glittering world of showbiz.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee said that he grew up in a small town and when he first came to Delhi, he did not know that train tickets had to be reserved.

The actor further said that I had never even set foot in a big city. After 12th standard I didn’t even have any future plans. A childhood friend was coming to Delhi to take admission in university, so I was ready to go along.

According to Manoj Bajpayee, I was surprised when my friend asked, “Do you have money?” I replied in the negative and he said that the train ticket is 50 rupees.

The actor said, “I requested my friend to take my tickets and I will pay Rs 50 later.” He said, “A man who begged, when will he pay?” You are a scholar, so I am donating you.

Manoj Bajpayee, who shot to fame with hits like Gang of Wasseypur, Bendant Queen and Satya, said that this incident made me obsessed with achieving success and till date I have not forgotten what my friend said.
