Is Hema Malini depressed over separation from Dharmendra? 'Dream Girl' told

Mumbai: Indian film industry’s ‘dream girl’ and yesteryear popular actress Hema Malini has said that she does not feel bad and is happy about being separated from her husband and former superstar of Hindi films Dharmendra.

The actress, who rose to fame with her role as Basanti in the classic film Sholay, spoke about her journey in the film world, her family and other topics in a recent interview given to an Indian television channel.

Hema Malini opened up about being separated from her husband Dharmendra and said that she is not depressed. He said that I am very happy with myself, I have two daughters and I have brought them up very well.

Asked if people consider her a symbol of feminism, the former Noamvar actress expressed surprise and then said that nobody wants to be like that, it just happens, and you have to accept it.

He added that every woman wants to have a husband and children and live like a normal family, but this could not happen.

The yesteryear actress added about her husband Dharmendra that he has always supported me and is with me every step of the way.

Hema Malini said that Dharmendra used to worry about child marriage, and used to say that child marriage should happen early, I used to say that when the time comes and there is a good relationship, it will happen.

It should be noted that these two yesteryear superstars (Dharmendra and Hema Malini) got married in 1980 and have two daughters Esha and Ahana Deol.

Hema Malini is Dharmendra’s second wife. Before this, Dharmendra had married Prakash Kaur in 1954, while he had not yet entered the film world. Dharmendra’s four children with Prakash Kaur are Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijitha and Ajitha.

For many years, Hema Malini has been living away from her husband and with her two daughters. Even in public events, this popular couple of the past was never seen together.

Hema Malini and her two daughters also did not attend the wedding of Dharmendra’s grandson and Sunny Deol’s son Karan a month ago, which shows that the family is suffering from internal rifts.
