London: Pakistani artist Nimra Bucha has received another international honor and will appear in a BBC detective series based on an Agatha Christie novel.
The actress has previously worked in Hollywood film projects ‘Polite Society’ and ‘Miss Marvel’ while she will play the role of ‘Miss Humble Bee’ in the new project.
David Johnson, Morphed Clarke and Penelope Wilton have also been announced for the new BBC thriller series.
The two-part series is written by Sayan Vanmee, while it will be directed by Indian-British filmmaker Minu Gaur.
Film fans are very happy with the involvement of Pakistani actress in a world-class spy series and they are calling it a new identity for Pakistani cinema.
