Wajahat Rauf, a producer associated with the Pakistan film industry, revealed an emotional incident related to the late Junaid Jamshed, a well-known religious scholar, host and former musician.
Wajahat Rauf recently participated in a private channel program where he narrated a story of late Junaid Jamshed.
He said that we were in college in Los Angeles where we were part of the PSA (Student Association). We arranged a concert on 14th August in which Junaid Jamshed was to perform and for that we paid his manager 800 dollars.
However, that concert could not happen due to some reason and later we both forgot about it. After 2 years I became friends with Junaid Jamshed and he used to invite us to his concerts.
Wajahat Rauf said that when there was a time for Junaid Jamshed when his financial conditions were not good, I received his call and asked him to meet me. I thought they might need some kind of help, so I went with that intention.
The producer said that when he came to meet late Junaid Jamshed, he found out that he had called me to return the 800 dollars. Since they didn’t have that money, they took special permission to perform for us and then performed for us.
Wajahat Rauf further said that Junaid Jamshed was quite afraid of his debt and used to say that he did not want to leave this world by borrowing from anyone.
