8 suspects, including a woman and foreigners, were arrested in anti-narcotics operations

Quetta: During the anti-narcotics operations, 8 suspects, including a woman and foreign nationals, were arrested.

According to the spokesperson of ANF, the series of anti-narcotics operations is continuing and in 7 operations, 8 suspects, including a woman and 2 foreign residents, were arrested after recovering a large quantity of drugs.

3 kg 600 grams of hashish was recovered from the possession of a woman resident of Peshawar near M1 Motorway Toll Plaza Islamabad. Besides, 700 grams of cocaine was recovered from the possession of the accused near PSO Pump Islamabad in G13. In another operation, 50 narcotic pills were recovered from the possession of 2 suspects in a private housing society in Rawalpindi.

According to ANF, the accused are involved in supplying drugs to the students. During the operations, 2 accused residents of Peshawar and Rawalpindi have been arrested.

On the other hand, a huge quantity of drugs was recovered from 2 vehicles near Airport Road Quetta. 20 kg of ice was hidden in the doors of the vehicles. The accused were trying to smuggle drugs by affixing official number plates on the vehicle. In the operation, 4 suspects including 2 foreign residents and residents of Chiniot and Chagai have been arrested.

Meanwhile, an attempt to smuggle 20 kilos of hashish through a motorcycle on Sabzal Road Quetta was foiled and the accused, a resident of Qila Abdullah, was arrested. 14 kg 500 grams of hashish hidden in plastic bags have been recovered in 2 operations in the area of ​​Jurubi Zakhakhel Khyber.

According to the spokesman, cases have been registered against all the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act and further investigation has been started.
